Terms of Use
1. Not legal advice
Court Ready Texts is a software tool that helps with the tone of your messages and with keeping an organized record. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. It does not interpret court orders or tell you what your legal rights are. Using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal questions, ask an attorney licensed where you live.
2. AI can be wrong, and you decide what you send
Drafts, transcriptions, summaries and answers are written by AI and may be wrong, incomplete or wrong for your situation. Check every draft and every transcribed message before you send or save it. You are responsible for what you send and what you save.
3. Your record and evidence
Each saved entry gets a digital fingerprint when you save it. If the entry is changed later, its fingerprint won't match. The fingerprint can't show what happened before you saved it. Whether a court accepts any record is up to the court and its rules of evidence. We don't promise that any court will accept it.
Your record is saved in your browser. If browser storage is cleared or the device is lost, it is gone unless you saved a backup file. Keeping backups is your responsibility.
4. What you agree to
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are allowed to share what you add. Adding messages, court papers, police reports or information about your child doesn't break any court order, protective order, confidentiality agreement or law.
- You won't use the site to harass or threaten anyone, or to break the law.
- You won't try to overload, copy or break the site, or get around its limits.
5. The threat flag is not a safety service
The threat flag is an automatic word check. It can miss real threats and can flag harmless messages. It does not watch over you or anyone else. If you are in danger or afraid for your safety, call 911 or your local police right away.
6. Changes to the site
We may change, pause or stop any part of the site, and we may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
7. No guarantees, and a limit on our liability
The site is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, Nodding Onion's total liability to you for anything related to the site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Minnesota law.
8. Governing law
Minnesota law governs these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update them here and change the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
